Re: A reflection / self improvement tool (could also be used to see how one's self-assessment compares to the assessment someone else has of you): This is a research-based self-assessment online tool (real vs ideal self). NOTE: ALL CAPS: 3pt; adjectives beginning with a Capital letter: 2pt; all lowercase: 1 pt. Weighing adjectives with this point system will give a much more accurate comparison than simply going by simple count or tally of contrasting traits. (So, for example, one three-pointer for High Dominance would be counter-balanced by a two-pointer plus a one-pointer for Low Dominance (or by 3 one-pointers for Low Dominance) (This note is on the interpretation page, but really comes too far down the page.) After you get the results on the long, detailed results page, you can "Save Page As" and save the results to some folder; it will create a EXTENDED ADJECTIVE CHECKLIST.htm web page and have a EXTENDED ADJECTIVE CHECKLIST_files folder saved along with it. (The mouse-over trait descriptions do not work in the saved copy, though.) In any case, this way one does not have to sit on the computer and evaluate the feedback immediately or all-at-once. This is fairly important, for practical use.
